Anna Donati born in Potenza Picena, she trained at the Art Institute of Macerata, where she followed the teachings of Nino Ricci, Paolo Magri Tilli and the architect Marone Marcelletti. She then continued her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Macerata having Remo Brindisi as a guide. At the same time she enters the world of work, working in fashion for prestigious brands such as Emilia Contini pret a porter d’ haute couture. She is a collaborator at the architecture studio of Aldo Tomassini Barbarossa and she cultivates her passion for advertising graphics, working at the Publidia studio. In the early nineties she made a radical choice, abandoning her job to devote herself completely to art. Her artistic research led her to geometric abstractionism and her masters of reference were the artists of the futurist movement and the forerunners of this current. Klee and Kandinsky. She assumes the name Iskra, which in the Russian language means “Astro, spark”. To her credit she has more than eighty personal exhibitions and more than one hundred group exhibitions, exhibiting in Italy, Spain, Germany, the United States and Montecarlo. Since 2006 you have been an active member of the Movimento Iperspazialista and since 2013 you have joined the Movimento Temporalist. Her works stand out in many museums and public places. She is the promoter of artistic initiatives in her region. In various editions you have been a member of the jury of the “Biennale di Giovani Artisti” competition in Civitanova Marche. For nine years you have curated the “Martedì dell’Arte”, a series of conferences on the theme of the arts. In 2013 you founded the cultural association “Arte”, of which is currently president.
